amd-1_64Going for low-intensity laser treatment to prevent vision loss due to age-related macular degeneration or (AMD). So, let it go away because according to a new study, low-intensity laser treatment cannot help you in preventing vision loss due to age-related macular degeneration.

In the words of Paul A. Sieving, MD, PhD, director of the U.S. National Eye Institute:

This approach does not seem to stop vision loss from AMD.

However, he said that instead of using this technique to treat vision loss due to AMD, doctors should use this technique in patients with good vision.

I personally believe that with this disclosure, the truth is totally turned naked and people suffering from AMD should seek out another way to treat AMD.
