Radiotherapy is being used for a long time to save people from several types of cancer and now very soon this new therapy may be used for treating patients with HIV infection. Scientists have come up with this belief because they have conducted some radiotherapy tests on HIV-infected mice and found that radiotherapy was effective in eliminating HIV-infected cells, without harming healthy cells.
However, researchers believe that still further radiotherapy trials on animals are necessary to get deeper into the whole concept, which will help them analyze whether radiotherapy will be safe for HIV patients or not.

Advance technology today is very useful in relieving and also saving people from different types of ailments, sometimes there were several medical malpractice that used advanced technology such as Radiotherapy seems to be a solution in a rising epidemic today not only American medical institutions but abroad as well that causes societies main depression. In Italy, a criminal organization has been hard at work doing just that. The organization would sell fake nursing diplomas. Apparently the criminals would loan ”want to be” nurses, looking for a higher payday, one of these fake diplomas for around 15,000 Euros or $19,000 dollars. The criminal organization would also require the clients to go through some very basic training as not to ruin the operation through complete incompetence. Fortunately, the lack of experience finally brought the crime ring’s operation down as doctors finally began to notice. Here in the U.S. there has been several cases o f malpractice as well. We have all heard the horror stories of individuals who get the wrong limbs amputated or go in for surgery and end up getting the wrong organ removed. These stories are the most remembered but are not all that common, nonetheless malpractice for things such as wrong diagnosis and accidental death are. There are some startling statistics on malpractice; some 44,000 to 88,000 cases get filed each year. Malpractice to some degree is just natural human error as the medical system will never be perfect because humans are not perfect, but there are certainly things that can be done to improve the system. One of the things that need to be addressed is the grueling schedule worked by new resident doctors. A poll said that the longest average shift worked by those in residency was 37.6 hours with most working over eighty hours a week on average. The sleep deprivation by new residents is what is raising concern as this obviously affects the individual’s ability to think and perform at an optimum level. The next time you go to the doctor and he looks sleepy consider rescheduling your appointment.
